Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Fiqro app and the websites of Awanwise FZE LLC ("Awanwise", "we", "us"), a company licensed in Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, UAE (Licence No. 4425943.01). By using Fiqro you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Families and age

Purchases must be made by an adult (18 or older, or the age of majority where you live). Children may use Fiqro with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for their use.

2. Your licence to use Fiqro

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Fiqro. Fiqro is for personal and family use, including learning at home and homeschooling. If you download Fiqro from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms on your use of the app, Apple's agreement prevails. If you download Fiqro from Google Play, Google Play's Terms of Service also apply.

3. Subscriptions

• Fiqro is free to download and includes free content. Optional Individual (1 profile) and Family (up to 6 profiles) subscriptions unlock all content, monthly or yearly.
• On iPhone and iPad, the Family plan can be shared through Apple Family Sharing. On Android, use it on devices signed in to the same Google account.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. On the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within the 24 hours before it ends. On Google Play, cancel any time before the renewal date. In both cases you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• When your subscription ends, premium content locks. Your profiles and progress stay on your device and unlock again if you subscribe again.
• If we offer a free trial, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Prices are shown in the store in your local currency and include any taxes the store collects. Prices may change. Apple and Google will notify you as their rules require.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

4. Your data

Profiles, progress and settings are stored only on your device. We can't see or recover them, and deleting the app deletes them. To keep a copy, use Save a backup in the Parents' corner. You are responsible for where you store backup files. See Delete your data.

5. Acceptable use

Don't copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer Fiqro, interfere with its security, or use it in any unlawful way.

6. Content and intellectual property

Fiqro, its challenges, text, sounds, artwork and the names "Fiqro" and "Awanwise", in any language, belong to Awanwise or its licensors and are protected by law.

7. Purpose of Fiqro

Fiqro is for brain training. It is not a medical, psychological or diagnostic tool, and it does not measure intelligence. Skill scores are indicators to support practice. For any concern about a child's development, consult a qualified professional.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Fiqro available and improving. We may add, change or remove features or content. We do not guarantee the app will always be available or free of errors.

9. Liability

Fiqro is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Awanwise is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Fiqro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

10. Ending use

You may stop using Fiqro at any time. If you seriously breach these terms, your licence to use Fiqro ends.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page, with the date above. If we make important changes, we will also show them in the app after you update it. Questions: support@awanwise.com.
